ABSTRACT

 Analytical signal representation of the anomalous magnetic field has the advantage of produce a transformation whose anomalies are centered over the borders of their magnetic anomalous sources. As such, it allows an easier way of depicting the position of these sources a task sometimes not easily done on the magnetic anomalous field representation alone, for those not familiar with the use of magnetic data. Two sets of maps at a millionth and 1:2500000 scales were generated for the integrated and homogenized magnetic airborne data made available by Petrobrás, covering both the continental (almost 75%) and offshore areas of the Brazil. These products are available as printed maps or as digital files in CD-ROM with the Agência para o Desenvolvimento Tecnológico da Indústria Mineral Brasileira - ADIMB, Brasília, DF, Brazil.
